My deepest condolences during this time of mixed emotions.
We always enjoyed the time we spent fellowshipping with Martin over the years.
We considered Martin to be strong pillar in the lives of many, and he will be greatly missed.
He and Pastor Powell will continue to enjoy fellowshipping through eternity until we see them again.

It is with great sadness that staff at the Windsor Salt facility in Belle Plaine have heard of Martin’s passing from his wife Lucy. Martin had made a regular pilgrimage out to our site to monitor and ensure the health and safety of our workforce over the past 15 years. He is remembered by many of our folks by his gentle demeanor and genuine humility. We extend our deepest condolences to Martin’s family and friends.

I was a colleague of Martin's at Saskatchewan Polytechnic (previously SIAST) for a number of years. I always respected Martin's dedication to his students and his calming demeanor. He would always be willing to go the extra mile for his students and they were always very appreciative of that.
Sending our best wishes to Martin's family and friends on behalf of Sask Polytech's Arts & Sciences department.

I have a deep sadness in my heart today about the loss of my dearly beloved uncle Kofi.
It was amazing to experience his humility and love a few years ago in Canada after so many years.I am grateful to God that my children got to meet him, shared some quality time and created lasting memories.
I spoke to uncle Kofi a few weeks ago ,little did I know that was our last.
In my sadness however,I give thanks to God for giving us such an amazing uncle.
You will be missed,Uncle Kofi

“It is with profound sadness that I have learned of the passing of Martin Adu from his brother Joe.
Martin and I were classmates at the School of Engineering at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) from 1971 to 1975. We also lived in the same hall, University Hall aka "Katanga".
Although we had not have the opportunity to meet or talk since we graduated in June 1975, I remember him as a smart, witty, unselfish, gentle and humorous friend.
My sincere condolences for the loss of your husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.
Kwasi Tagbor.”

Martin was a remarkable inspiration to me personally and encouraged me to keep going when I wanted to give up. He built me up when I was trying to begin a men’s ministry and his prayers were so very powerful. What an amazing man of God that Heaven gained. Love you Martin and thank you for your love and kindness. See you in Heaven mighty warrior of the Gospel.
