Obituary of Richard David Charles

Richard David Roy Charles passed away peacefully surrounded by his family in the Royal University Hospital  Saskatoon on Wednesday, May 31, 2023.

Richard was born to Richard Charles Sr. and Wanda Nipshank on June 3, 1983 in Prince Albert. He was raised in Prince Albert. Richard had a special bond with his best friends, siblings Carrie, Crissy, Dean, Estel, Vanessa, Sheldon and his brother-in-law Andrew.

Richard grew up in Prince Albert and Little Red River Reserve where he made a lasting impact on everyone he met. He was best known for his infectious laugh and crazy sense of humor. If you were lucky enough to meet him, you made a friend for the rest of your life.

Richard had a passion and great talent for drawing and art which later lead to a career in tattooing. He probably still owes you a tattoo. Richard lived for the day and he did everything to the fullest.

He had a love like no other and he was most proud of his beautiful children; Taylor, Kylie, Daelan and Nyna. He loved and cherished every minute he got to spend with his shy grandson Sage.

The Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Little Red River First Nation.

The legend will live forever.
